ESG-Rating

The European supply chain law is intended to ensure that companies enforce environmental standards and human rights along their production chain. The so-called ESG rating, which evaluates the topics of environment, social and governance, helps with this. It includes in detail:

• Environment: This area includes, among other things, energy efficiency, resource consumption, climate change, waste management and environmental pollution.
• Social: Here, relationships with employees, customers, suppliers and other interest groups are assessed with regard to human rights, health, safety and diversity.
• Governance: This sub-area deals with ethical principles, integrity, transparency and compliance with regulations in the context of corporate governance.
